Sleep Train kicks off school supplies drive for foster kids

Rocklin-based Sleep Train Mattress Centers has kicked off its annual School Supply Drive for Foster Kids.

Now through Aug. 11, Sleep Train is collecting donations of new school supplies at more than 100 of its stores throughout California. Donations also can be made via the "donate online" link at www.sleeptrain.com.

Needed items include backpacks, three-ring binders, loose-leaf paper, multi-subject notebooks, flash drives and pencils.

Schools, sports teams, businesses and others can set up "Host-Your-Own-Drive" efforts at www.sleeptrain.com/host-drive.aspx.
