Cats glance: River Cats get one hit in 2-0 loss to Tucson

Highlight: Matt Andriese allowed one hit over seven innings and struck out eight as the Tucson Padres beat the River Cats 2-0 Wednesday night at Raley Field.

Not a good day: Historically, July 3 hasn't been a good day for the River Cats. They are 4-10.

Excellent outing: River Cats starter Arnold Leon allowed six hits and struck out nine in seven innings, throwing 73 of his 96 pitches for strikes.

Homers are key: The River Cats are 35-17 when hitting a home run and 10-24 when not homering.

Comebacks are tough: When trailing, the River Cats are 2-32 after five innings, 2-36 after six, 2-39 after seven and 0-39 after eight.

On the other hand: When leading, the River Cats are 34-5 after five innings, 37-4 after six, 42-0 after seven and 43-0 after eight.

Today: River Cats TBA vs. Fresno Grizzlies RHP Mitch Lively (3-2, 6.34 ERA), 7:05 p.m., Chukchansi Park.
