Road paving will continue on the Garden Highway this week.
The pavement repair of Garden Highway from North Bayou Way to West Elverta Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday will create intermittent lane closures and traffic restrictions.
The Sacramento County Department of Transportation warns that the work will affect both northbound and southbound traffic on the Garden Highway, including vehicles, pedestrians and bike riders.
Emergency vehicles and local resident traffic will be allowed, with possible delays.
This traffic includes access to Teal Bend Golf Club, Alamar Restaurant and Marina and Swabbies on the River, according to the county.
Detours will be set up around the pavement repair project area. Pavement work will also occur July 15-19 and July 22-26.
