The Vietnamese Community Center in Sacramento hosted its grand opening celebration on Sunday. Live music, dance and food were free for guests. The Vietnamese Community Center sits on over two acres of land and is ideal for hosting an array of multicultural and community-oriented events. It provides a great hall that accommodates up to 800 guests equipped with PA, sound, and lighting system. The Center has a 3,000 square foot library with an entertainment center, meeting place and cafeteria. In addition the Center houses 10 classrooms that will be occupied by the Vietnamese Parent Teacher Association-Lac Hong Center, a non-profit organization founded with the mission to preserve and promote the Vietnamese language and culture in America in order to provide future generations.
