Gasoline prices in California have been a mixed bag over the past month up a little bit in some areas and down a touch in others.
The average statewide price of regular unleaded gasoline rose 2 cents over the past month to $3.98 a gallon, according to the latest monthly gas price survey released Tuesday by AAA.
In Northern California, the average price of $3.92 was down 3 cents from the June 11 AAA survey.
Sacramento came in at $3.83, down 4 cents from last month.
Among all 50 states, California has the third-highest average price for regular unleaded gasoline. Hawaii is the highest at $4.31 per gallon.
"The recent overall declines in retail prices are largely due to regional supply disruptions being resolved," said Cynthia Harris, AAA Northern California spokeswoman.
