As a lunch break is called out to the workers, Miki Baker, 14, right, splashes color onto Sydney Cooke, 13, left, while Mikayla McGann, 18, watches from the background on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Clovis, Calif. The three were part of a group working on Jackie Martella's home at the Bonaventure Mobile Park in Clovis. "I've never seen such positive kids," exclaimed Martella, 82, who watched television inside as the kids worked. This is the 10th year in a row World Changers has sent teams of volunteers to Clovis area homes to help paint, renovate and make minor repairs in lower-income neighborhoods, according to the company's press release. Two hundred junior, high school, and college students from around the country arrived this week to work through Friday. A new group of students will arrive next week to continue renovation work at other chosen homes in Clovis. World Changers worked with the City of Clovis to identify the homes from 60 applications this year. World Changers is a volunteer ministry with workers helping renovate homes throughout the world. Clovis is the only city in California being visited by World Changers.
