A Sacramento Fire Department crew helps remove passengers from the monorail at the California State Fair after it lost power Wednesday afternoon, stranding 38 passengers. State Fair officials said service was disrupted about 4:14 p.m. Two lifts with platforms and a ladder truck were used. Fire officials said no injuries or medical emergencies were reported. The train will remain on the tracks until it is evaluated, and will reopen after Cal/OSHA's inspection and repairs are completed. Officials said the ride underwent a $1 million renovation in 2011.
