Downtown MusicFest

Get your groove on over a long weekend of nonstop music. Kicking off Aug. 1, the sixth annual Downtown Berkeley MusicFest will feature hip-hop DJ music as well as "blues, soul, jazz, brass bands, klezmer, Middle Eastern, classical, Carnatic, bluegrass, twang-pop and cowboy genres," organizers said.
