City officials lifted North Natomas water restrictions today after a pipe that ruptured on Monday was repaired.
The water transmission main near Arena Boulevard just east of Truxel Road was broken about 11:30 a.m. Monday while work was being done by a county sanitation district crew.
The pipe, about 13 feet below the surface, supplies water to about 27,000 homes and businesses.
The water main is in a drainage canal levee. The city was working with the levee district on Thursday to fill the hole dug to repair the leak.
The city said residents may return to summer outdoor watering rules.
