LAS VEGAS - Kings center DeMarcus Cousins scored six points and tied for a team-high seven rebounds as his Blue Team lost to the White Team in the USA Basketball Showcase, 128-106, at Thomas & Mack Center.
Cousins played just 16 minutes, second fewest on his team behind Derrick Favors, who had a back injury.
"I'm not used to that but it's like that in these types of games," Cousins said. "There are guards than bigs so you have to get in the rotation. Overall it was fun and I had fun."
Kyrie Irving led the White Team with 23 points and seven assists. Anthony Davis led the Blue Team with 22 points and seven rebounds.
Thursday's exhibition concluded the four-day minicamp for Team USA. Players from the minicamp are competing for invitations to play for the National Team in the FIBA World Championships next year in Spain.
In news unrelated to the game, the Kings will be meeting with Cousins' agent, Dan Fegan, in the near future to discuss a new contract.
Cousins is eligible for a contract extension and Fegan will be looking for a deal in five-year, $80 million-range, the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement.
