Roger Speer, a longtime Universal Technical Institute manager, has been named president of UTI's Sacramento campus.

UTI's campus at 4100 Duckhorn Drive comprises about 250,000 square feet and provides technical training for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians.

Speer has worked for UTI for more than 20 years, serving in multiple management positions.

"Roger's extensive experience and focus on providing a quality training experience for our students are great assets to the business," says Kim McWaters, CEO of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based UTI.

At UTI-Sacramento, Speer will oversee more than 140 employees at a facility outfitted to train up to 2,100 students.
