Antiques in Truckee
What: The 39th annual Truckee Antiques Show, the largest in the Tahoe region, continues its three-day run at Truckee High School. Thousands of antiques and collectibles benefiting the high school's booster club will be for sale.

What: Elk Grove's annual tribute to Austrian composer Johann Strauss is celebrated with nightly performances. The Strauss Festival, an extravaganza of amateur costumed dancers performing waltzes and polkas, has attracted more than 30,000 people annually since its inception in 1987. Each performance ends with a fireworks display.

Annual pear affair
What: A Delta tradition since 1972, the Courtland Pear Fear celebrates the Bartlett pear harvest with a fun run, pancake breakfast, arts and crafts, wine tasting and pears. The Pear Parade takes place at 1 p.m.

Vintage wares in Davis
What: Vintage clothes, midcentury furniture, household items, collectibles and much more will be for sale at the Davis Flea Market. The market will be directly across from the bike path entrance on Olive Drive that connects south Davis to downtown.

What: If old clothes are cluttering your closets, bring them to Hello XOXO in midtown for its Summer Clothing Swap. An entry fee and a bag of swappable items gains admission to the studio. A portion of proceeds, as well as any remaining clothing, will be donated to WEAVE.
