The California Restaurant Association in Sacramento will present "Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Restaurant Week" Sept. 20-29 at dozens of restaurants across the Sacramento Valley.
The event will be presented in partnership with the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, which will host various events celebrating the region's farmland, culinary scene, food production, exports, chefs and restaurants.
Organizers said about 30 restaurants have signed up so far.
"We hope locals and visitors alike will find 'Farm-to-Fork' week to be an excellent time to dine out with family and friends to truly discover the culinary innovations and strong agricultural partnerships happening in the region," said Mike Testa, SCVB senior vice president.
Organizers said participating communities include Sacramento, West Sacramento, Davis, Roseville and Folsom.
