Banda joins Sacramento Univision morning show as co-anchor

Karina Banda has joined Sacramento Univision TV station Channel 19 (KUVS) as a co-anchor and reporter on the Spanish-language station's "A Primera Hora" morning show.

Banda previously worked at Televisa Monterrey as a co-anchor of its evening newscast. She holds a communications degree from the University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

She also studied acting at TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles and English at the University of Texas at Austin.

Banda joins Maribel López and Gustavo Ortiz on the "A Primera Hora" show.
