Kings fans who feared they may never see their team play again in Sacramento can rest easy.

They're back.

The Kings will open their 2013 preseason schedule Oct. 7 with a game against the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

With the first two preseason games on the road, new coach Michael Malone will make his unofficial Sleep Train Arena debut Oct. 14 against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rookie guards Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum also will make their Sacramento debuts.

The regular-season schedule will be announced Tuesday at 3 p.m. on NBA TV.
