Highlight: Sonny Gray picked up his Pacific Coast League-tying 10th win, and Hiro Nakajima had a bases-loaded two-run single during a four-run sixth inning to lead the River Cats past the Round Rock Express 5-3 on Saturday night before a sellout crowd of 14,014 at Raley Field.

He's back: Manny Ramirez batted fourth for the Express. He last played at Raley Field as a River Cat on June 14, 2012. In 86 at-bats for the Express, he's hitting .279 with three home runs.

Latest move: The A's optioned left-handed starter Tommy Milone to the River Cats and recalled right-handed reliever Evan Scribner. Outfielder Jake Goebbert also was added to the River Cats' roster from Double-A Midland.

The new guy: Goebbert, who hit 18 home runs with Midland, tied the score 1-1 with a homer in the fifth inning. In his other plate appearances, he had two walks and a groundout.

Today: River Cats RHP Bruce Billings (10-5, 4.23 ERA) vs. Round Rock RHP Scott Richmond (4-4, 5.36), 6:05 p.m., Raley Field.
