Re "Hydro firm to repay state $750 million" (Page A1, Aug. 17): Nowhere in the article did I see any mention of anyone being held accountable for these crimes. No mention of any arrests or prison sentences handed out, or even a slap on the wrist. Oh sure, Powerex and JPMorgan Chase & Co. will have to reimburse part of the money they swindled from California ratepayers.
I am taking my granddaughter shopping and today's lesson will be if she gets caught leaving the store with six candy bars she hasn't paid for, I will march her back in and make her give back two. Accountability 2013.
