• Highlight: Hiro Nakajima collected three hits, Shane Peterson and Anthony Aliotti had two each, and Andrew Werner earned his 11th win as the River Cats downed the Tucson Padres 5-4 on Sunday evening at Raley Field. Peterson, Aliotti and Nakajima have combined for 19 hits in the last two games.

• Red-hot Cats: The River Cats extended their record home winning streak to 10 games. They are 22-9 (14-1 at home) since the All-Star break and 14-3 in August.

The transactions were the 100th and 101st of the season for the River Cats.

• Today's game: River Cats LHP Carlos Hernandez (0-1, 3.00 ERA) vs. Tucson RHP Burch Smith (4-1, 3.89), 7:05 p.m., Raley Field.
