Re "Last Nixon tapes shed more light on cover-up" (Page A1, Aug. 22): Forty years after the Nixon Watergate scandal the New York Times is still writing about it, and the Bee gives the article on the National Archives and Records Administration's release of the final chronological installment of the Nixon tapes front page placement!
Where is the investigative reporting about Benghazi which we still have not learned what happened, unless you believe it was a video that caused it? The IRS profiling of conservative groups and a top official taking The Fifth! What about the Associated Press phone records gathering, discarding the law and excluding unions and big business from Obamacare until after the next election?
While some may argue that these may be "phony scandals", the media's love affair for this president has completely clouded their judgment on most issues and has prevented them from printing any articles that attempt to at least look into the facts.
But we are still interested in a phone call President Nixon had 40 years ago.
