Re "Sheriffs don't get to pick laws they will enforce" (Editorials, Aug. 25): Congratulations to The Sacramento Bee's editorial board staff once again. How can a group of educated people seem to always write half of a story? I realize it is only their opinion but they do have the bully pulpit.
They blather on about how county sheriffs don't have the right to pick the laws they will enforce and choose gun rights to make their point. I have no dog in this fight, but what happened to the editorial board's outrage, their self-righteousness, when it comes to enforcing laws they don't agree with? What about illegal immigrant criminals? I have never seen them write one article in favor of the refusal to enforce this law.
They are allowed their opinion, but it always seems to be slanted to one side of the scale.
