Re "Sheriffs don't get to pick laws they will enforce" (Editorials, Aug. 25): "Constitutional sheriffs" is a term that sounds good to the tea partyers, but there is another word that describes this "new" idea better -- fascism. What they are promoting are the very same ideas as the Nazi brownshirts preached as they remade democratic Germany into the world's strongest fascist power.
So, look out America. The "constitutional sheriff" idea is fire that never goes away, and always threatens us all.
