Daegis Inc., the Roseville-based electronic discovery and information-management firm that will soon move its headquarters to Dallas, reported a loss of $633,000, or 5 cents per share, in its fiscal first quarter ended July 31.
The company reported net income of $157,000 in the year-ago period.
First quarter revenue totaled $8 million, a decrease of 17 percent year-over-year.
In late June, Daegis officials announced that the company planned to have its Dallas headquarters operational by Sept. 1 and complete the move by the end of the year.
While the area will lose a headquarters, the net job loss is expected to be small. The company said it employs about 32 in Roseville and plans to maintain a Roseville office of 26 to 28 specialists.
