Re "Schools drop federal lunches after picky kids stop buying" (Page A8, Aug. 28): Sad, I thought, that schools are dropping the federal lunch program. Michelle Obama's healthy foods campaign, I guessed, is a failure.
Then I read the article. Less than 1 percent of school nutrition directors surveyed were even considering dropping the school lunch program. I'm not a math whiz, but that sounds to me like a 99 percent success rate. A better headline for the article might have been, "Obama's school lunch reforms an overwhelming success!"
