How in the world did this president win Nobel Peace Prize?

Re "U.S. set to act alone on Syria" (Page A1, Aug. 30): President Barack Obama, who was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize, ponders starting yet another war in Syria. He doubles down on his "peace" efforts with wars in Libya, Egypt, Iraq, and Afghanistan and potential wars with Syria, Russia, Iran and China.

His prize was for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples, and a "new climate" in international relations especially in reaching out to the Muslim world. Apparently "peace" is Obama assuring the Muslim world is engulfed in war.

Therefore, to gather some new Nobel Peace Prize points, Obama must attack Syria now and consequences be damned. Also, to solidify his "peace" resume, let's not forget his hard work here at home to as he campaigns across the country fostering race hatred, cultural division and class envy at every opportunity.
