Re "Wildlife group pushes app to help sick, injured animals" (Sacbee.com, Sept. 6): A few months ago, my neighbors found a baby hummingbird that couldn't fly. Being the animal lover that I am, I wanted to help.
I looked on the internet to see if there was a wildlife rescue hotline, but there was not. I did all I could to help this poor bird by giving it nectar and a soft place to sit. The hummingbird died the next morning. So many animals could be helped if there were an easier way to get help for them.
If this mobile application plan works out, it will definitely help people like me to save the lives of helpless wildlife.
