    The changing of the honor guards at the Capitol Mall 9/11 tribute during Sundays 9/11 Run to Remember 5K/10K event on September 8, 2013. An estimated 1,500 people ran in race and placed flags next to the names of 2,977 victims at the Tribute in the Park. The event, now in its 3rd year, raises money for a variety of charities, including the Sacramento Area Firefighters Widows and Orphans Fund and the Wounded Warrior Project.
