Gov. Jerry Brown will deliver the keynote speech later this month at the Friends of Light Rail & Transit annual meeting in Old Sacramento.
The 26th annual FLRT event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the California Railroad Museum. Tickets are $50 per person, including food.
Friends of Light Rail & Transit is a local non-profit that advocates for increased transit in the Sacramento area. The topic of the governor’s talk was not immediately disclosed.
