Jewish food faire
Sacramento’s Jewish community pays tribute to the holiday of Sukkot, which marks harvest season, with traditional culinary favorites at the 36th Annual Jewish Food Faire. Dishes include matzo ball soup, stuffed cabbage and corned beef. And, of course, chopped liver.

Armenian food festival
For the 67th year, St. James Armenian Church presents its festival of food and cultural music. Foods such as shish kebab, yalanchi, pilaf and kufta headline the menu.

Harvest for hunger
An evening of food trucks, beer and wine, and live music mark this harvest season celebration. Proceeds of the evening support the River City Food Bank.
