Todays weather is expected to be warm and breezy but the weekend looks cool and maybe a bit wet in Sacramento.
Todays projected high temperature of 86 degrees is expected to be accompanied by north winds around 10 mph, gusting to 20 mph. The warm-up continues on Thursday with a forecast high of 90 degrees, but winds tailing off.
A low pressure system lingering offshore is expected to reach the coastline by Friday morning, according the the National Weather Service. The low will bring cooler, cloudier and wetter conditions to Northern California.
The Delta breeze is also expected to pick up. The chance of showers on Saturday in Sacramento stands at 30 percent.
