Re "Spy court calls phone data sweeps legal" (Page A6, Sept. 18): The secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court determining that the National Security Agency has not broken any laws or violated the Constitution is a perfect example of how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The FISA court is a rubber stamp for the NSA. If Americans think that they have nothing to fear since they've done nothing wrong, they are ignoring the past. History is laden with the blood of millions of people who thought the same thing until it was too late.
Our government is out of control and needs to be stopped.
