Re "GOP, Boehner vow federal shutdown out of mere spite" (Editorials, Sept. 19): Why must you demonize opponents at every opportunity?
You opine that anyone who disagrees with your glowing support from Obamacare must do so out of spite. Yet many Democrats are expressing grave concern over the obvious failure of Obamacare. At a minimum, it is ludicrous to pretend this is an undeniable success.
You demonize the tea party. If you did bother to attend a tea party meeting, you would learn that the focus is on constitutionally limited government, free markets and fiscal responsibility. Which of those principles do you find most objectionable?
