Re "House sets up budget showdown" (Page A1, Sept. 21): Republicans know this is their last chance to have any chance at that oval office in 2016. They have had to stand by and watch President Barack Obama pull this country back from the brink of a full blown depression, pull our men out of a war they should never have been involved in, watch as the unemployment lowers, houses begin to be built and cars begin selling.
Americans once more can see some light at the end of a tunnel, and Republicans must stop Obama from putting the cherry on top.
With insurance coverage through exchanges and expanded Medicaid, Americans can go to a doctor when ill, not to the emergency room. They will have better health care.
But Republicans are desperate for a win.
