Re "Dodger's pool party spurs Arizona outrage" (Sports, Sept. 21): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was quoted as decrying the "no-class act by a bunch of overpaid, immature, arrogant, spoiled brats."
I almost spit out my coffee! Finally, McCain had summoned up the guts to criticize his own party and their quest to shut down the government. Alas, he was just talking about the Los Angeles Dodgers' celebration upon winning the National League West title.
Perhaps McCain should stick to what he knows will be successful, online cellphone poker.
