MATCHUP TO WATCH
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning vs. Raiders cornerback D.J. Hayden
Manning likely will target Hayden, the 12th pick in the 2013 draft. Hayden has played OK so far, but he hasn't faced a quarterback as hot as Manning, who has passed for 769 yards and nine touchdowns in two wins. Said Hayden to The Associated Press last week: "Just OK is not going to cut it."
THREE KEYS TO GAME
The Raiders, who have averaged 198.5 rushing yards per game, will go against a defense that has allowed just 40.5 rushing yards per game. Can the Broncos stop Darren McFadden (177 rushing yards) and Terrelle Pryor (162 rushing yards)?
How will Pryor, making his fourth NFL start, handle the hostile crowd at Sports Authority Field that hates the Raiders? Against Denver's stingy run defense, the Raiders need Pryor to have success through the air and avoid costly mistakes.
Through two games, the Raiders were tied for the league lead with nine sacks, including five from their secondary. If the Raiders go to the blitz too often, Manning has the experience to make them pay.
