The Sacramento Metro Chamber is expecting about 2,000 attendees and some 150 businesses at its Small Business Metro-Expo event Thursday at the McClellan Conference Center.
A daylong trade show, with businesses displaying products and offering information, is scheduled as part of the 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. event, with a networking reception immediately following.
Admission and parking are free for participants, who will have an opportunity to connect with business people across the six-county region. Hourly workshops will cover topics that include the national health care overhaul, the Next Economy, social media, international trade, financial funding, human resource training, certification classes and digital media options.
The day also will feature two guest speakers, one at breakfast and the second during lunch hour.
