Anthony Bosser, Pioneer: Rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns and threw a 29-yard touchdown pass in the Patriots' 52-18 win over Lindhurst.

Jake Browning, Folsom: Completed 23 of 27 passes for 361 yards and six touchdowns, four to Will McClure, in the top-ranked Bulldogs' 49-21 win over No. 15 Monterey Trail.

Marc Ellis, Granite Bay: Caught 14 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner, in the No. 5 Grizzlies' 39-35 win at Pittsburg.

Buddy Enriquez, Rosemont: Threw four touchdown passes – two each to Charles Love and Daniel Tveretinov – to lead the Wolverines over Kennedy 51-14 in a Metro Conference opener.

Evyn Holtz, Rocklin: Rushed 36 times for 152 yards in the No. 10 Thunder's 19-7 win over No. 11 Inderkum.

Matt Jimison, Vista del Lago: Completed 29 of 43 passes for 434 yards and four touchdowns, three to Brayden Shouse, who had 14 catches for 223 yards, as the No. 17 Eagles defeated El Dorado 33-19.

Nolan Merker, Sheldon: Threw five touchdown passes, three to Taron Johnson, in the Huskies' 33-30 come-from-behind win over Laguna Creek.

Spencer Sheff, Elk Grove: Rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns in the No. 2 Thundering Herd's 43-0 win over Nevada Union.

Dre Terrell, Pleasant Grove: Completed 15 of 19 passes for 258 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a touchdown in the No. 3 Eagles' 42-7 win over Pitman of Turlock.

Deandre Whittington-Grays, Grant: Rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns in the No. 6 Pacers' 38-35 double-overtime loss to No. 7 Del Oro.
