Re "600 foodies on a bridge to nirvana" (Our Region, Sept. 30): The picture of the gentleman from Altadena photographing himself at the Farm to Fork bridge dinner underscores the exclusivity of the event.
As the Bee reported earlier, only one-third of the pricey dinner tickets were ever available to the general public. Out-of-towners appear to have scored a few seats, however.
If we're to celebrate our region's heritage, the regular folks who live here shouldn't get forked.
