The West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce is moving to new offices at 1401 Halyard Drive, suite 120.
The move is expected to be concluded by this evening.
Officials said the nearly 2,000-square-foot site will provide enough space for the chamber’s staff to conduct activities supporting 400 businesses that are members of the organization.
The chamber is moving out of offices it occupied at Merkley Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard for about 50 years.
“It’s bittersweet to be moving from our Merkley and Jefferson location,” said chamber CEO Denice Seals. “Arthur Turner was a charter member of the chamber 67 years ago, and the Turner family and their company, the West Sacramento Land Co., has nurtured the chamber through thick and thin.
“We couldn’t have done it without them.”
