Re "Why not pay health fine?" (Letters, Oct. 1): The letter writer says, "no one with half a brain will buy insurance until they need it." Really? You would not buy car insurance "until you need it"? No fire insurance until your house is already burning? No life insurance until you are already dead?
Why should it be so hard for some young people to understand that the only sensible time to get health insurance is before you need it?
