The Hornets (9-9, 4-3), who won for just the second time this season on the road, sit in a two-way tie for fifth place in the 11-team Big Sky standings with 13 matches remaining. The top six teams in the conference qualify for the league's postseason tournament.
The Hornets have won four of their last five matches. They have a seven-match winning streak against Weber State dating to 2010 and lead the series 30-8. The Wildcats dropped to 5-17 overall and 1-7 in the Big Sky.
