Sacramento fighters were among Northern California prospects who won on Saturday night cards at the Red Lion Woodlake Hotel and Placer County Fairgrounds.
In Roseville, local winners were junior lightweight Albert Torres (4-0-1) by third-round technical knockout over Percy Peterson (0-1) of Stockton and featherweight John Abella (5-0-1) by fourth-round TKO over Christian Cartier (0-3) of Yuma, Ariz.
Heavyweight LaRon Mitchell won by first-round knockout over Blue Delong, junior middleweights Luis Cruz and Miguel Lopez fought to a four-round draw, junior welterweight Aldwayne Simpson prevailed by fourth-round unanimous decision over Alfredo Lugo, and junior middleweight Aaron Coley triumphed by third-round TKO over Michael Alexander.
Locals, however, did not fare as well at the Red Lion. Bantamweight Mario Ayala (2-1) lost by majority four-round decision to Christian Navarro (1-2) of Los Angeles, and local heavyweight Ojayland Brown lost his pro debut by a first-round TKO to Edward Ramirez (1-0) of Yuma, Ariz.
Also, junior welterweight Manuel Rose won by six-round unanimous decision over Moris Rodriquez, heavyweight Rodney Hernandez took a four-round unanimous decision over Kevin Howard, and cruiserweight Ryan Bourland earned a second-round TKO over Albert Avina.

Voges throws for 7 TDs; Sac High routs Johnson
Caden Voges completed 22 of 31 passes for 388 yards and seven touchdowns as Sacramento High School beat Hiram Johnson 70-6 in a Metro Conference football game in Oak Park.
Kyree Stephens and Damen Wheeler each caught two touchdown passes for Sacramento (4-2, 2-1). Lonny Powell rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns on four carries, had a receiving touchdown and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
Johnson fell to 1-5 and 0-3.
UCD seeks tennis titles
The UC Davis men's tennis team will have a chance to win three main-draw and two consolation championships today in the UCSB Classic in Santa Barbara. Alec Adamson earned a berth in the Flight A singles final against Cal's Nikhil Jayashankar, according to UCD's athletics website.
