Pascale Fusshoeller, a well-known Web editor in the Sierra foothills, looks to the sky after she was released from immigration custody at the John E. Moss Federal Building on Tuesday. She allegedly ran a stop sign last week in Nevada City and tried to use the ID of her wife, Susan Levitz, right. Fusshoeller, who emigrated from Luxembourg 15 years ago, has lived here on an expired visa but on July 22 married her partner Levitz and is seeking U.S. citizenship, said her criminal lawyer, Tom Johnson. The couple wed less than a month after gay marriages resumed in California following a U.S. Supreme Court decision.
