Re "Don't force social media use" (Letters, Forum, Oct. 13): I'm a longtime print subscriber who changed over to an online subscription a few years ago because hard copies are obsolete. The primary reason I pay for an e-subscription is for the privilege of commenting on articles without fear of stalking or harassment.
I don't want, or need, a Facebook account. Since I can no longer comment on Bee articles, I realize that it's no longer necessary to pay for a subscription. It is possible to read The Bee from a variety of external links. I am cancelling my e-subscription, and wish you well with your new business model.
