Re "Remember those who flirted with default (Editorial, Oct. 20): Congressmen Jeff Denham, Tom McClintock and Doug LaMalfa knew of your financial plight and could care less. Even with the battle lost, they still voted to keep the national parks closed and voted to destroy the U.S. credit rating. Their tantrum cost all of us at least $24 billion dollars.
Denham, McClintock and LaMalfa will be up for re-election in 2014. Voting has consequences. Have you learned your lesson?
