Sacramento-based River City Bank reported net income of $3.1 million, or $2.16 per share, for the quarter ending Sept. 30.
That was down slightly from $3.2 million, or $2.22 a share, in the year-ago period.
Through the first nine months of the year, net income for the bank totaled $8.4 million, up from a profit of $8.3 million through the first three quarters of 2012.
River City oversees a dozen branches in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer and Yolo counties.
