I am an infrequent commenter, and try to be direct, succinct and civil. I like feedback to whatever I say, but I think trolls who simply like to bomb other commenters are not appreciated by most of us who like to offer discourse on articles.
I would welcome the most stringent blocking methods employed to keep the trolls from the comments site. I support making all commenters provide more identity, maybe even occupations, which are often important to see where a commenter is coming from.
But having to leave the comments to go to Facebook is too involved for most of us to do.
