Kings rally in third quarter but can't overtake Clippers

The Kings rallied from a 15-point deficit in the third quarter, but could not overtake the Los Angeles Clippers and lost, 110-101, Friday night at Sleep Train Arena.

Isaiah Thomas came off the bench to score a game-high 29 points for the Kings. DeMarcus Cousins added 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Chris Paul led the Clippers with 26 points and 10 assists. Blake Griffin had 20 points and 17 rebounds.

The Kings (1-1) were down 79-77 entering the fourth quarter before the Kings assumed control of the game late.

The Kings play at Golden State Saturday night.
