MATCHUP TO WATCH
Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor vs. the Eagles' defense
Pryor stunned the Steelers on the Raiders' first play last week, running 93 yards for a touchdown, and he's rushed for 391 yards in six games. The Eagles have allowed just 99.5 rushing yards per game. How well the Eagles contain Pryor will likely determine the outcome of the game.
THREE KEYS TO GAME
If the Eagles focus their defense on Pryor, as they should, the Raiders will need to feed running back Darren McFadden, like they did last week against the Steelers (24 carries, 73 yards). McFadden, who has just 340 yards this season and is averaging 3.7 yards per carry, is due for a big game.
The Eagles' pass defense gives up 302 yards per game, second worst in the league, so expect Pryor to test them early, trying to connect with wide receivers Denarius Moore and Rod Streater both average more than 13 yards per catch for a game-breaking play or two.
The Eagles have used three quarterbacks this season Michael Vick, Nick Foles and former USC star Matt Barkley. Foles, today's starter, has been the best, with six touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 101.2 passer rating. He had strong games against the Giants and Bucs, but he completed just 11 of 29 passes in a 17-3 loss to the Cowboys during which he was knocked out of the game with a concussion. The Eagles need him to play like he did against the Bucs, which landed him the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award.
