Kings lose in Portland, 104-91

PORTLAND, Ore. – DeMarcus Cousins scored a season-high 35 points, but that wasn’t enough as the Kings lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 104-91, Friday night at Moda Center. The Kings (1-4) have lost four consecutive games after winning their season opener. Cousins shot 13-for-25 to go with nine rebounds. Damian Lillard led Portland (3-2) with 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points. The Blazers shot 48.4 percent while the Kings shot just 41.9 percent. The Kings host the Blazers Saturday night at Sleep Train Arena.
