There shouldn’t be any rain on any Veterans’ Day parade in the Sacramento area today, even though it may be cooler and clouds will be moving in as the day wears on.

Highs today will reach 74 degrees, but the lows will drop around 48 degrees. Southwest winds 3 mph to 6 mph will start up in the evening.

A high pressure ridge is responsible for keeping the temperatures slightly warmer than normal, but another storm coming in to the north of the Sacramento area may bring some rain late tonight into Tuesday. Most of the moisture will be north of Interstate 80, and over the coastal mountains.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy during the day, which will see temperatures climb to 74 degrees. But northwest winds 3 to 8 mph will start to clear the skies in the afternoon, and overnight temperatures dropping down to 45 degrees.

The ridge of high pressure will rebuild over the area Tuesday night, which means that Wednesday will be sunny and warmer, with the thermometer possibly reaching 75 degrees. Wednesday will likely be the hottest day of the week, as temperatures will start dipping slightly for the next few days. Highs will still be warmer than normal - 73 on Thursday and 72 on Friday, but the lows will also drop to 44 degrees both nights.

The weekend looks to be closer to seasonal, with highs on Saturday expected to reach 71 degrees, and Sunday to be 69 degrees, or about normal. Lows will be slightly cooler Saturday night, only reaching 43 degrees.
